My Experience

I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and affiliate member of the British Psychological Society (BPs.). 

I strive to provide an ethical and confidential counselling service. I am an experienced Health & Social Care practitioner specialising in mental health issues. I have worked in primary care settings (NHS, IAPT), taking GP referrals from people with life and relationship difficulties causing issues such as depression, anxiety, and panic. I have also worked successfully with Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome and victims of crime and trauma and offer Rewind Technique and EMDR (Eye movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing), an NHS approved therapy for PTSD. My work with loss and bereavement was gained through my experience of working within a hospice settings and the wider community supporting patients and families. 

Alongside private practice, I work with NHS staff; I provide clinical supervision to registered health practitioners and also to fellow counsellors and psychotherapists. I value a relational approach
